It was a wet day for the 2014/15 Sailing Season Opening Day last Saturday at The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, but a bit of rain wasn't going to dampen the spirits of the over 500 members and guests who celebrated the day at their beloved club.
Spring brings a new opportunity to sail on Etchells. If you're a competent keel boat sailor, come and crew on an Etchells in our spring races. Or, get a team together and ask to borrow "Pam" – “Pam” is an Etchells built by Pamcraft, and owned by the Pittwater Etchells Fleet. “Pam” is available to help sailors experience the fun of sailing Etchells (some conditions apply).

At the recent Annual General Meeting Michael Lockley was elected to the position of Vice Commodore after serving one year of a three year term as a Director. Consequently the Board are required to appoint a Director to fill the casual vacancy until the next AGM when an election will be held for the balance of the term.
