COMMODORES CUP - BECOME THE CLUB YACHTING KEELBOAT CHAMPION FOR 2018/19!

“Participate to WIN”

The Commodores Cup Series for 2018/19 has been transformed to now be the Club Keelboat Championship and is based on 8 races taken from the Club Annual Program throughout the Spring & Summer Season.

A boats best results from specific races held throughout the Spring & Sumer season will be accumulated at the end of the series to crown the winners in each division.

The series will consist of races from the Saturday Inshore Series, the Estuary / SOPS Series, Feature events, Wednesday Spring and Summer Series and Thursday Twilight Spring and Summer Series, giving everyone a chance to be a part of this new Championship.

Two (2) best results from Inshore Series.
Two (2) best results from Estuary / SOPS Series.
Two (2) best results from the following Feature Races - Pittwater Dash (Opening Day), Whisper Mug, Dicko Cup Marathon Series, Friends of David Booth Trophy Race.
Two (2) best results from Wednesday Spring Series, Wednesday Summer Series, Thursday Twilight Spring Series or Thursday Twilight Summer Series

For those that do not compete in the Wednesday or Thursday Series, your third best score in the Inshore and Saturday Estuary/SOPS Series will be used.

The Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions are those of the individual events or series - rules, eligibility and scoring are as detailed in the Notice of Championship in the Sailing Handbook.

To enter the Series boats are required to enter by selecting the specific Commodores Cup Series entry form which is online. Those not entered in the Series will not be scored.

The Sailing Office will maintain a spreadsheet of results for those that have entered the Series.

The entry fee is $ 50.00 for all competitors, which will help support our Youth Development Program. Entry deadline is 2nd October 2018. Must be entered to be eligible in the Series. Only members of the RPAYC are eligible to win the Commodores Cup Series.

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club - RPAYC is a yacht racing and sailing club based on Pittwater.

The yacht club offers year round inshore and offshore racing, cruising, centreboard dinghy racing, sail training and courses plus has a large marina accommodating up to 352 vessels.
