Dark Star wins McConaghy MC38 Autumn Cup

Wednesday 15 May
The McConaghy MC38 Autumn Cup held on Pittwater, Sydney, crowned John Bacon, Dark Star, as the winner this weekend. This is the second MC38 class victory for John Bacon after winning the Sevenstar MC38 Australian Championships.

Black Betty Tames Easy Tiger IV At Platu Coronation Cup, Thailand

Easy Tiger IV has been tamed at the 2013 Platu Coronation Cup at Top Of The Gulf Regatta in Thailand by Perth based sailing team, Black Betty. After scoring a seventh in the final race, which was shortened due to ominous thunderclouds heading towards the racecourse, the Tigers finished fourth overall ahead of Rolf Heemskerk's Team ViewPoint.

Easy Tiger IV Prepare to Defend Coronation Cup at top of the Gulf Regatta

Australia’s Easy Tiger Racing Team are returning to Thailand this week to defend their 2012 Platu Coronation Cup crown with their new Platu 25, Easy Tiger IV. If successful, Skipper Chris Way and his crew will become the first team ever to defend the title, one of the most prestigious yachting trophies in Asia.

America's Cup - Invitation from St. Francis YC

The Commodore of St. Francis Yacht Club, James M. Cascino extends an invitation to RPAYC members to join them for a once in a lifetime experience during the America's Cup races on San Fransisco Bay in 2013. RPAYC members will receive the same experience and benefits that have been offered to their own members.

Speakers Corner Lunch with Sean Langman

  • Annual Old Timers Race and Luncheon (from 1100hrs), 20th April.
  • Annual Gwen Slade Ladies Regatta (1300hrs), 20th April.
  • Casual Race Day, in conjunction with the annual Beneteau Regatta, 27th April.
  • Winter Wednesday Non-Pointscore Series, 1st May.
