TUESDAY WOMEN'S TWILIGHT SERIES "Women on Water"
|Description||The Women’s Twilight Series is a series of fun, social twilight races with spinnaker and non-spinnaker entries permitted. Racing makes use of the lasting daylight with round the can courses inshore on Pittwater. The rules of the Women’s Twilight Series allow for only one male per boat with that member of the crew not touching the helm throughout the race. Crews often follow up their evening with dinner in Halyards with fellow crew, guests and great weekly prizes.|
|Race Format:||Run throughout spring and summer during daylight saving time.|
|Race Length Average:||Up to 90 minutes|
|Series:||The Women’s Twilight Series is held on alternative Tuesday evenings. There are two divisions depending on the type and speed of the yacht.|
|Starting Times:||From 1755hrs|
|Divisions:||There may be up to two divisions in the Women’s Twilight Series.|
|Handicap:||Races are scored on a Performance Handicap System (PHS) using a weighted average calculation. ORCclub Ratings are also applicable.|
|Special Regulations requirement:||The Tuesday Women’s Twilight Series is a Australian Sailing (AS) Category 7 event.|
