Twilight Sailing is Here - Tuesday & Thursday - Join Today

It's the Twilight fun sailing Season at the Alfred's !

Two Twilight Sailing Series are held over summer, with the Women's Twiligth Series held fortnightly and the Thursday weekly Series (Spring and Summer). RPAYC Twilight SeriesRPAYC Twilight Series

Women Shesails Sailing! 
Tuesday Twilight is tailored specially for women sailors. From experience sailors to those learning to sail, all can part take in the Series. Ten races are schedled in the Series from October thru to Mark 2020. 

Racing starts at 1755hrs for Division 1, 1800hrs Div 2. With daily race prizes for divisonal placegetters and spot prizes for crew annouced at the post race presentation and dinner in Halyards.

If your spouse/partner owns a boat and you would like to take it sailing in this ten race fortnightly series, please let the Sailing Office know who can assist you with your preparation and entry into the Series.

We have a number of keen crew who are looking to join the Series as crew. Inform the Sailing Office or join the Alfred's Women's Facebook group.

Thursday Series
The Thursday Non Spinnaker & Spinnaker Twilight season is a fantastic way to enjoy Pittwater with family and friends. Competitors can select to race the Series under spinnaker or non-spinnaker.

Racing enjoys the long days of daylight savings and sensational sunsets over Pittwater. Post race enjoy the weekly specials from Halyards bistro and prizes. 

For those new to sailing or wishing to brush up no their skills the Club offers and easy means to be involed with our Discover Sailing Experience Sessions. from 1700hrs each week a Club Instrcutor will take an Elliott 7 out with a crew of 3-4 pre race to run through some basic sailing knowledge before joining the fleet for the days race. You can do as many of these sessions as you like or join the crew on noard a members baot for the next race. The Office will assist you in this process. Bookings are via the Australian Sailing RevSports System. 

The Spring Pointscore Series commences on the 26 October thru to 19 December with the Summer Series commenceing on 16 January 2020 thru to 19 March 2020. 

Racing starts at 1755hrs for Division 1, 1800hrs Div 2 and 1805hrs for Div 3.

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club - RPAYC is a yacht racing and sailing club based on Pittwater.

The yacht club offers year round inshore and offshore racing, cruising, centreboard dinghy racing, sail training and courses plus has a large marina accommodating up to 352 vessels.

There is also a modern boatyard with comprehensive marine services to help maintain your vessel.

Membership, including family membership is now available.
