Cruising First Friday
Join fellow members and guests each first Friday of the month for dinner at the club and hear from guest speakers.
Book a table with your friends to catch up, or just book, and we will allocate you a seat.
On the night: Join fellow members for pre-drinks from 5:30 pm in the Edinburgh Lounge and Bar beside the fireplace – dine from the Alfred’s Restaurant menu. Bookings close the Wednesday prior to the First Friday of the month or as scheduled at 5pm, COB. Contact Reception on 9998 3700 for booking questions.

Father's Day Celebration
Saturday 6 September
This Father’s Day, treat Dad to something special at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club.We’re open from 8 am with a fresh new menu for breakfast and lunch, live music in the afternoon, and a complimentary welcome drink for every father joining us for lunch.
Whether it’s a quiet morning coffee, a leisurely lunch with the family, or an afternoon soaking up the views, we’ve got the perfect day set up.
Women Sailors Social

Calling all Women Sailors, join us for a special evening at the club prior to the start of the new sailing season. A great social event to reunite, meet new crew and discuss the season ahead over a drink and stay for dinner.

Join girls from sailing clubs across NSW and the ACT for an unforgettable weekend designed to inspire the next generation of female sailors.
Hosted by Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, OptiChicks is much more than a sailing weekend. It’s an opportunity to build lasting friendships, be mentored by inspiring female sailors, experience different boats, build confidence and discover the many exciting pathways our sport has to offer.

Join us at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club in Newport for the 2026 Sail Expo – a free, family-friendly event celebrating all things sailing and the vibrant marine lifestyle.
Open to the public, the Sail Expo is a unique opportunity to connect with marine industry professionals and explore the latest in yacht designs, marine technology, leisurewear, lifestyle, and boating services.
Whether you’re an experienced sailor, cruiser or simply curious about getting started, the event offers something for everyone.
10 – 4pm. With live music, Food & beverages, and more to complement the weekend.
