The Cruise is the Participate phase of Coral Coast 2011.  The Planning is complete, the Preparation will be complete and the Cruise will begin. Will you be ready to Participate?

The Nature of this Rendezvous Cruise
The Coral Coast 2011 Rendezvous Cruise is an independently sailed cruise based on departure from Pittwater from May 2011, and return by November 2011, with Dunk Island as the most northerly rendezvous location. This is a rendezvous cruise only – ie it is a series of locations along the Queensland coast where participants may meet to discuss their adventures, their plans and share knowledge and experiences. There is no ‘cruise in company’ organised component of this cruise, however it is recognised that participants may choose to sail some legs in company with other participants from time to time.

Cruise participants may leave Pittwater on their personal time table and return at a time to suit their commitments. They may sail as far north as their personal timetable allows and can turn south at any point and/or time and re-synchronise at any future rendezvous location.  The cruise is therefore flexible in cruising time, cruising distance, cruising locations and cruising company.

Cruise Schedule
A number of northbound and southbound rendezvous locations have been defined in the Coral Coast 2011 Cruise Schedule.  Cruise participants wishing to rendezvous will meet at each rendezvous location to share prior passage experiences in the traditional First Friday format, and discuss and plan the next cruise passage prior to departing in company or individually for the next rendezvous location.

Sailing between redezvous locations is independent sailing. The main rendezvous locations and dates are subject to change and are indicative only.  Dates will change as the cruise is underway due to weather and conditions. A simple update will be available to all participants.
