The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club offers a number of supplementary courses and seminars to advance your skills
in other areas.

Marine First Aid
The course provides a sound knowledge of basic First Aid proceedures while also
looking at the aspects of first aid that are specific to the marine enviroment.

Sea Safety and Survival
The course was developed following the 1998 Sydney to Hobart race to ensure
that crews are adequately trained to handle an emergancy situation.

Marine Radio Operator's Course
To operate a Marine Radio, be it VHF or HF the law dictates that the user must
be licensed. The Marine Radio Operator's Course gives the participants the sound
knowledge needed to effectively use Marine Radios. The Course also fulfils the
Marine Radio Licensing requirements.
