The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club is the largest Sailing School on Pittwater offering accredited Yachting Australia (YA) courses.

The RPAYC Sail Training Academy aims to promote sustainable growth in sailing at the Club by providing training, which in turn increases participation in the Club’s keelboat and centreboard programs.

No matter what you're looking for we can offer a course to suit your needs, we specialise in the delivery of courses from beginners through to racing.  Our structure allows participants to move through the courses at their own pace and ability in an enjoyable environment.

Learn to Sail caters for both Adults and Kids with courses specifically tailored to their individual needs.  Courses focus on providing a safe and enjoyable environment where skill acquisition comes naturally.

In addition to Learn to Sail Courses, RPAYC’s Supplementary Courses and Professional Seminars offer opportunities for participants to expand their knowledge in various sailing related areas.  These include, but are not limited to; First Aid, Sea Safety and Survival, Radio Operators, Marine First Aid, Engine Maintenance, Tactics, Racing Rules and Navigation.
