Join us at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club in Newport for the Pittwater Sail Expo – a free, family-friendly event celebrating all things sailing and the vibrant marine lifestyle.
Open to the public, the Sail Expo is a unique opportunity to connect with marine industry professionals and explore the latest in yacht designs, marine technology, and boating services. Whether you’re an experienced sailor or simply curious about getting started, the event offers something for everyone.
Visitors can enjoy:
A diverse showcase of yachts, dinghies, and shore-based marine exhibitors.
Information on Learn to Sail programs, youth and adult training, educational courses, racing and cruising opportunities, and family-friendly club membership options.
A welcoming atmosphere with live entertainment and a seasonal dining menu available throughout the weekend.
This is your chance to experience the world of sailing firsthand, meet the RPAYC community, and see just how easy it is to get out on the water. With free parking and a complimentary tender service to and from nearby wharves, enjoying the day couldn’t be easier.

Parking is available at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Crystal Bay Street Carpark.
From here it is a short 5-minute walk to the RPAYC Clubhouse and marina.
Parking is free.
For Members of RPAYC the normal parking regulations will apply in the Mitala Street carparks.
A Tender Service ‘çome by water’ will operate to RPAYC from the following Marina Wharfs on Pittwater.

Keoride Service
The Keoride service ‘Travel on demand’, complements the NSW Government’s Northern Beaches B-Line Service. You can book a service to pick you up from either:
- Your home, within the zone (Palm Beach to North Narrabeen)
- A designated point of interest within the service area – The Alfreds!
- A bus stop
The service operates 7 days a week on:
- Monday to Wednesday 6am – 10pm
- Thursday and Friday 6am – 11.30pm
- Saturday 7am – 11.30pm and
- Sunday 7am – 9pm
