Annie Wilmot & Natasha Bryant 2017 NSW Sports Awards Finalists

The Australian Sailing Female Sailors of the Year duo of Annie Wilmot & Natasha Bryant continue their run of sporting champions with being finalists in the NSW Sports Awards 2017. The cream of NSW sports stars from both past and present will be celebrated at the NSW Champions of Sport Ceremony to be held at Rosehill Gardens on Monday 27 November 2017.

Sport NSW hosts the prestigious NSW Sports Awards, a program that has been running since 1994. The Sports Awards serve to celebrate outstanding achievements and excellence in NSW sport across 14 categories, including athletes, teams, coaches, officials, administrators, events and organisations on an annual basis.

In the past guests have been delighted with high-calibre emcees such as Tracey Holmes, Peter Wilkins, Stephanie Brantz, and Andrew McKinlay as well high-class entertainment including Australia's foremost piano-vocal entertainer Scot Finnie, elegant string-quartets as well as up and coming stars from the Talent Development Project. Sport NSW is delighted to launch the inaugural NSW Champions of Sport Ceremony.

For the first time, the induction of new entrants into the NSW Hall of Champions will be combined with the NSW Sports Awards in one gala ceremony which is sure to become the biggest night on the NSW sporting calendar. This is an event which simply cannot be missed.

The NSW Athlete of the Year, Athlete of the Year with a Disability and a host of industry awards will also be awarded. The NSW Sports Awards are currently in the judging process and finalists will be announced by Sport NSW next week.

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club - RPAYC is a yacht racing and sailing club based on Pittwater.

The yacht club offers year round inshore and offshore racing, cruising, centreboard dinghy racing, sail training and courses plus has a large marina accommodating up to 352 vessels.

There is also a modern boatyard with comprehensive marine services to help maintain your vessel.
