RPAYC Ground Floor Works Update |
Dear Members
The works on the ground floor of the club house are progressing well and to time schedule. We hope to have the bathrooms open for use next week end and will resume trading in Halyards on Wednesday 1 September.
Next week there will be some disruption to the service of draught beer while the new beer lines are installed. We hope this won’t take more than 2-3 days but may mean that we are only able to serve bottled beer during this period.
Importantly, I advise members that on Monday 23 August the club will close at 3pm to allow for the electrical board to be upgraded. All power to the clubhouse will cut at 3pm, however, the marina and boatyard will not be affected. The club will reopen the following day as normal. This means that the bar and reception will be closed from 3pm on Monday and the telephones & email will go down during this period. I apologise for any inconvenience this may cause members and will keep the disruption to a minimum.
