Ray Roberts' 'Evolution Racing' leads the IRC Passage Division One after 4 races with a handy 9 point lead over his nearest rival 'Charisma'. To date, Roberts and his crew have notched up a near perfect result with two bullets and two seconds.

With a number of RPAYC members on board as crew including Richard Hudson, his son Andy and Jamie MacPhail 'Evolution Racing' looks set to take the title, pending no major mishaps or gear damage, with 3 races to go. Speaking from the top of the hill on Hamilton Island after racing a short time ago, a puffed Richard Hudson was pleased with the team's performance so far.

"We're going very well. We've surprised ourselves actually as we didn't think we go as well as we have but so good, so far. The conditions have been fairly light which has suited us perfectly. With three races to go we're not over the line just yet but with a comfortable cushion on the pointscore we've just got to maintain some good sailing over the next couple of days. The forecast is for some stronger breeze.

Another RPAYC boat Bob Southerton's 'Bullrush' with an RPAYC crew on board currently sits in 13th in the same Division.

In Performance Division One, PANDORA Geoff Weir is in 3rd place, only 2.5 points off the lead
