HARDSTANDS

The Alfreds hardstand storage facility is available to members only. The Green Point and Crystal Bay Hardstands provide members with an easy and safe method of storing, launching and retrieving their yacht or trailer boat.
The hardstand can accommodate over 72 vessels and the smooth concrete hardstand surface allows for easy manoeuvring 24 hours a day. Each hardstand is equipped with water and power.

Three cranes, up to four tonnes each, service the hardstands and allow the launching and retrieval process to be easy and user friendly. Members can receive full training on the use of the crane prior to key issue.

CENTREBOARD DINGHY STORAGE

As part of the RPAYC's commitment to promote all types of sailing, a designated area has been set aside for the storage of up to 100 centreboard dinghies. The facility offers undercover rack storage for the smaller dinghies or an open hardstand area for the larger dingies.

A large non-slip ramp is located adjacent to the lawn which provides a safe and easy method of launching dinghies. A pond area has been created near the ramp which is surrounded by the floating marina. This enables members to safely manoeuvre or prepare their dinghy for a fun day's sailing.

TENDER DINGHY STORAGE

is available on the Crystal Bay Hardstand and the Moonbar Lawn. The racks are located near two ramps making using the dinghy that little easier.
