The RPAYC has operated a slipway for its members since 1952. In 2007, the club invested in its redevelopment and, after a successful opening, Pittwater's newest and most modern boatyard now includes:
- A hardstand for up to 10 boats.
- Custom built cradles and cradle carrier.
- 120 000 litre rain-water catchments.
- Replacement of a large mast desk (which houses a 1000 Kg crane)

What is included in your antifoul package?

How much antifoul do you spray onto my boat?
We spray 2 full coats & a 3rd around the leading edges & waterline
Do you deliver vessels?
We drive vessels from the Clubs marina or from the work berths located near the travelift. We give you a call the day before your lift to advise of your lift time. If you deliver your boat we offer complimentary berthing. Please advise at the time of your booking that you will require a berth and the Club to drive it around on the day of lift.
Do you tow vessels instead of drive them?
No. Unless the vessel does not have an engine we insist on driving the vessel as it is too dangerous to tow vessels into the narrow travelift pen. If you don’t want your vessel driven by our staff you will need to deliver it yourself.

I need to have my boat surveyed for insurance; can I be lifted just for that? I don’t need an antifoul.
Yes we have a service called a Quickslip – we hang you in the slings for one hour for the marine surveyor to do their out of water survey.

How do I pay if I can’t be there on the day of launch?
At the time of booking we will send you a confirmation letter (email/fax) and attached will be an agreement form. If you are a non member you will complete the bottom of this form with your credit card details. The Club does charge a 2% surcharge for credit cards however we do offer Bpayment or eftpos as an alternative, as long as we have your credit card on file. We send you a detailed invoice on day of launch and offer you 5 days to complete the transfer via Bpay. If we haven’t received your payment within this period, we will then charge your supplied credit card.
Can I do the work myself?
As a member you are more than welcome to anitfoul your boat yourself. Please email the boatyard office for availability.

If you are not a member you can antifoul your boat over the weekend. We will lift you up on Friday afternoon, after lunch and launch you Monday morning between 7am-10am.

Can I do my own waterblasting?
No. The Club staff are the only ones that operate the water blaster and we don’t allow water blasters onto the yard as it disturbs the boats cradled next to you.
I would like to stay a week at The Alfreds Marina after my antifoul.
We offer a complimentary berth before lift and after launch for 1-2 days either side of your booking. If you would like to stay longer please contact the Waterfront Office for a casual berth on the marina. They are contactable on 9998 3741 or

If I get the Club to antifoul my boat can I do other work on it?
Yes you are more than welcome to work on your boat whilst the Club is antifouling it. If your tasks interfere with antifouling please see the Boatyard Manager to work out a time schedule to fit in with each other.
I need to do some keel work, can you hang my boat so I can get to under the keel?
Yes we can. Our travelilft hire price if $225 per hour.
I need to buy antifoul, do you sell it?
Yes we do. Please advise us at the time of your booking that you require antifoul on the day you are lifted to ensure we have your preferred colour in stock. Our stock:
